Maos Chittim

Jewish Law mandates donation of funds to ensure that our neighbors also have the means to prepare Pesach. Please contribute to our local maos chittim (“wheat money”) fund with a check to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund. Bring it to Rabbi Haber or the office. Thank you to all who have contributed. We also gratefully acknowledge the support of the Orthodox Union in supplementing maos chittim funds of our community.

Also, if you are able to host individuals or families for the sedarim, please contact Rabbi Haber.

B’nai Israel Calendar for 2019

Believe it or not, it’s actually time to start getting ads for the 2019 B’nai Israel calendar.  This year, the calendar will have an option to have ads in full color. If you have any companies (mechanic, electrician, plumber, painter, etc., or persons that you feel might benefit from placing an ad in the calendar, please send your list of names and addresses to the shul office and we will contact them for you.
