The Bnai Israel Sisterhood, which was established when the congregation was formed, attends to the needs of the shul that others might overlook. The Sisterhood also provides a gift of a Chumash to every bar mitzvah boy or bas mitzvah girl. The Sisterhood has recently gone under a “rejuvenation” and is planning for many social and educational events for the women of Bnai Israel. The Sisterhood has been the backbone of the community. We welcome women, of all ages, to join the Sisterhood.
